Question about software license

The software license states VideoMakerFx is for "personal" use.

Please define the term "personal"!

As a software developer myself I understand that some software licenses use the term "personal" use to mean not for any business use at all.

Now the term "personal" may at times simply refer to the software is only for use by the person who purchased it and not to be rented out or shared.

Could someone from VideoMakerFx please define the term "personal" in the software license.

 Thanks for the message.

Personal use means that the person who purchased the software would be given a user account which he would need to login to the VideoMakerFX server every time he uses the software, and that that account will solely be used for his personal use only.

Ok thanks for that - still got a more precise question on that.

Does that mean the videos themselves created with Videomakerfx can ONLY be used for personal uses, or can they also be used for marketing a product of a business via social networks ? And: are there any disclosures required (copyright etc.)? For clarification purposes: I am not talking about SELLING the video, but using it as a means of marketing a product / an app. Thanks !

That's the main purpose of VideoMakerFX, for you to make videos and profit from them.  All the images and the music tracks that came with VideoMakerFX are royalty free so no copyright issues.  However, if you decide to add your own image/audio, make sure that they are royalty free as well.

As stated on the website:

Q What Are My Rights On Created Videos Exactly?

Unlimited and full. Sell and profit however you like. If you use other non-bundled images, music, graphics or other elements then you must verify yourself what rights you have to use them, as this content may be copyrighted to other authors.
